A residency breaks the habit most ticket buyers rely on. When the artist, the tour and the venue are identical across every listing, the date is the only thing distinguishing what you are about to buy — and it is the field people skim.

Most ticket buying leans on a shortcut nobody articulates: you recognise the city, you recognise the venue, and you assume that between them they have identified the show. A residency quietly removes that shortcut. Madison Square Garden announced Harry Styles' Together, Together run as 30 consecutive shows at the arena, every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 26 August to 31 October 2026. Every listing therefore carries the same artist, the same tour name and the same building. The date is doing all the work of telling one from another, and the date is the field people skim.
For a single-night stop, the artist and venue may be enough to identify the show. For this residency, they are not. A resale listing, a screenshot sent by a friend, a search result, an old browser tab — none of them are self-identifying, and two of them can look identical while pointing at nights weeks apart.
The practical version of this is short. Take the date from the card on the Harry Styles page, open the ticket site through that date's own button, then check the date twice more: once on the provider's listing, once on the order summary before you pay. The order summary is the one that counts, because it is the last screen where a mistake is still free to fix.
A distinctive listing title is still not a substitute for the event date. Check the full calendar date on the listing and order summary, even when the artist and building look familiar.

Ticketmaster's tour announcement says Jamie xx opens all Madison Square Garden dates, so the support billing is not a reason to pick one night over another. Doors, stage times and the venue's own entry rules are Madison Square Garden's to set and publish, and they are published per event rather than per residency — the venue's FAQs are the place to read them, not a third-party page.
The original sale schedule was staggered, but not by months. Ticketmaster lists general sale for the first twenty shows on 30 January 2026, split between two times, and for the final ten on 4 February. Those dates explain the original release structure; they do not establish today’s prices or availability. Compare the listings for the nights you can attend, including the ticket category, seat details, fees and delivery terms.
The date board on the artist page carries the nights verified from the source, each with the ticket sites that have their own checked destination for that exact night. Where a figure appears next to a button, it is one provider's listed price for that one night, captured at the time shown beside it — per-date, never per-residency. That is the whole reason the site does not publish a "prices for the Harry Styles residency" number: there is no such thing, only 30 separate sets of listings that happen to share an address.
Two limits are worth stating. First, a night that is not on the artist page is a night that has not been verified, which is not the same as a night that does not exist — the venue's own announcement is the authority on the shape of the run. Second, nothing on the artist page describes a seat. Section, row, obstruction notes and delivery method live on the provider's listing, and for a building with as many seat categories as this one, the guide to reading a ticket listing is more useful than any figure.
If you take one thing from this: on a residency, treat the date as the identifier and everything else as decoration.
