Ollie Taylor
Ollie Taylor is a diehard Beyoncé fan and the creator of Tour Ticket Compare. He built the site after getting tired of checking resale sites one by one to compare prices across sites to find the cheapest tickets. Based in Brighton, UK, he works full time in marketing and runs Tour Ticket Compare in his spare time, driven by his love of finding a good deal, music, festivals and live events. He keeps it going because he's been stung by confusing resale prices and buried fees as a fan himself, and wanted somewhere that's upfront with other fans about what a ticket actually costs before they click through. Tour Ticket Compare is fan-first — it exists to make ticket prices easier to compare, not to sell tickets.
What I'm accountable for
Every guide, blog post, artist page, city page and venue page on this site carries my byline. That is not decoration: if a date is wrong, a ticket button lands somewhere unexpected, or a guide describes a provider's terms incorrectly, it is mine to fix.
The site publishes nothing it cannot trace to a source. What that means in practice — which sources count, what has to be true before a ticket button appears, and what never gets published — is set out in the editorial policy.
How the site pays for itself
Some outbound ticket links earn a commission, which never changes what you pay and never decides which links appear. A button goes up once the destination has been checked, paid or not. The full position is on the affiliate disclosure page.
Corrections
Spotted something wrong? Tell me on the contact page and I'll fix it. Send the artist, the date, the venue or city, and the page you were on — that's usually enough to reproduce it.
Find me elsewhere
I'm on LinkedIn for the marketing side of things, and on X and Instagram as @olstaylor for everything else — mostly Beyoncé, festivals, and whatever tour I'm currently trying to get tickets for. Tour Ticket Compare's own updates are on X and Instagram.
